Carolyn first entered the world of recycling in 2002 and has since edited three major industry titles – Recycling & Waste World, Resource, and LARAC members’ magazine, the Loop.

Aside from writing about everything from EPR to corporate sustainability, and using her editorial experience to achieve maximum PR exposure for clients, Carolyn has interviewed several environment ministers, appeared on radio to explain new household collection schemes, and helped festival caterers set up recycling systems.

In a past life, she lived off-grid in a classic truck, and has worked as a market trader and organic vegetable picker. These days, outside work, you’ll most likely find her in a bee suit. Although her approach to sustainability verges on the nerdy,  she claims she no longer inspects people’s bins at parties.
